Sicko is a very good and informative documentary. If you haven't already seen it. I highly suggest that you do. It's funny, sad, and extremely informative. Many people believe that if you have health insurance that all your health care needs will be taken care of. That is just another lie that we have been told. They do all they can not to help you. Why? Because they don't want to spend any money on you! They want to keep all of the money for themselves. That's how they make money. The intention has never been to help you with your health needs. The quicker you understand this the better off you will be.

Sicko tells you the sad truth of how United States health care industry really is. They would rather see people die than to help them. Countries such as Canada, Britain, France, and even Cuba give their people free health care. Having free health care is a basic need that every individual has the right to have.

Michael Moore did a fabulous job on this documentary. He asked all the questions that you wanted to know upfront. This is really an eye opener. I believe everyone can relate to this film because we all know someone who can't afford medical insurance or if they do they are fighting to get the help that should be guaranteed to them. After all, it's not like it's free, because you are paying for it.

Nothing seems to be geared toward helping people and everything is geared toward watching people suffer. I always say it, and I will say it again. You have to educate yourself regarding issues, because the media is not going to tell you the truth. You will be sicker than a dog if you are waiting for them to inform you. It's your health and life. If you don't care enough to take the time and educate yourself. Than who will? Don't believe all the bull the media tells you when they say this or that person is a quack. The real quack is the media and the health care industry.

Remember it's all about the money. The sicker you are the more they get paid! They don't want you to get well!

To Sara of Fit by Sara: What is the best exercise I should do after having my baby?

From Sara of Fit by Sara: After your doctor has given you the thumbs up to exercise (typically 4-6 weeks postpartum), I recommend starting off slow.  Walking with your baby in the stroller or baby bjorn is great exercise plus your baby will love the movement and typically fall asleep.  Work up to 40 min. of walking 3-5 X per week.  As  you get stronger you can start implementing interval training to burn more calories and reduce body fat.  For example you can do 5-10 min. power walking followed by a 2 min. jog (I highly recommend a jogging stroller for running), then repeat the sequence for a total of 40 min.-Sara Holliday
